  • Hello, I have an idea. I searched, but have not found To-Do List Plugin For Trillian. Somebody is interested in its realization? I not so well know English language and not the programmer, but could support the project various ideas. Who wants and can make this plug-in?
  • There are a couple of Todo list plugins already. There's a third-party one that's publicly released (but may not be supported anymore), and one I made for internal Cerulean use which probably SHOULD get cleaned up and released. That said, one more is always welcome. :) Sparks 18:50, 23 Dec 2005 (CST)

[edit] File Uploads

I'd like to move the skinning wiki over here, but it seems kind of pointless as long as we have to host files for it on Civillians. Can you enable file uploads for images / ZIPs? (The tutorial includes zipped sample skin files, various parts in the ref use images, etc.) --Tometheus 10:08, 8 March 2006 (CST)

Done. If it gets abused, I may have to create a new user group to grant the 'upload' permission to, and then restrict it. For now, all registered users can upload. --Sparks 16:37, 9 March 2006 (CST)

Thanks. I hope to get everything moved over this weekend. Right now, I have everything moved but the 'core' reference. (There are a lot of tables I have to convert between the two wiki formats.) --Tometheus 19:13, 9 March 2006 (CST)

[edit] Misc options

Hate to be a pain, but... Can you unlock the css page so I can add some CSS classes for the skinning pages? --Tometheus 11:56, 11 March 2006 (CST)

actually, for now I can use templates to insert the style code if you don't want to unlock the CSS (I wanted to do it through classes so it would be possible to support the other themes.) (As it is, I'll still probably use the template to insert the class code since it's less 'messy' looking at the code LOL)

Thanks for the file upload. Got all of the images moved over, but I can't upload the .zips. However, as a work-around, I uploaded them in the Skinning Resources Center and am linking them from there. That way at least Skinning Gurus / mods can edit them. If you don't want to enable zips, this solution is workable for now.

Can you add 'Skinning Trillian' to MediaWiki:Sidebar? Pretty please?

[edit] Main Page Layout

Well, I've finished moving over the main Skinning reference now. So, effectively, the skinning section is open for business.

Might I suggest something like this for the main page? That makes it easier for a user to find the section they're looking for. Also, notice how the skinning cell is transcluded from here (to be moved somewhere else obviously). That allows you to lock the main page, while allowing us to edit the details of that one section. (Of course, refreshing the transclusion is another issue... It should probably be put in the Template namespace so the server cache for the main page gets refreshed when the template is updated, i.e. Template:SkinningPane.) (This option also negates the earlier request for modification of MediaWiki:Sidebar... although it really should be modified to make it more relevant to TrillWiki.) It's all up to you of course. --Tometheus 00:46, 13 March 2006 (CST)

Alrighty, done :) --Kid 19:56, 19 March 2006 (CST)

Thanks for doing it with templates. (Here is my modified page using the templates and the table layout suggested above.) At least now the front page and plugin templates can be locked and allow us to modify the skinning template. The main reason I suggested the table layout was so that it's easy to see which information was about plugins and which was about skinning. Also both are visible without scrolling the page. (I basically copied the wikipedia format.) --Tometheus 20:02, 19 March 2006 (CST)

[edit] Spammage

Since the main page is now handled by templates, can we please lock it back up again? This spam is annoying. Also, this page itself gets hit occasionally, so can we put a link at the top of the page to somewhere like Talk:Main Page/2 or something like that then lock this page down? --Tometheus 09:46, 12 September 2006 (CDT)

If you're not going to lock it down, can you at least ban Ceas and Cdcd? They're both multiple offenders. --Tometheus 09:06, 18 September 2006 (CDT)

Hello? --Tometheus 22:42, 1 October 2006 (CDT)
