I am just wondering some of the terms have the sign "&" in front of or in between the word, for example: &Start or Po&rt:

I saw Kid remove the & sign in the chinese translation, but some other language pack keeping it. Which way we should follow??? - Angushui 19:16, 5 December 2006 (CST)

係呀,我刪除了所有"&". "&"的用法是,如果你放"&"於一個英文字母前面,例如"&file",trillian 會知道如果你按"alt+f",該menu會打開.因為windows始終是洋人的電腦系統,中文就所以麻煩好多喇!!如果要支援這個功能,就要翻譯做"檔案(F)".但因為trillian地方太小,寸金尺土,兼且不太好看,trillian本身對鍵盤支援又不完善,所有我們可以不理會啦.--Kid 12:18, 6 December 2006 (CST)

一些需要討論的詞彙就放在這裡吧~ 當決定後才加在上面的 list 中

  • Widget - 在 Apple OSX 的台灣網頁中，他們沒有翻譯 Widget 這個字~ 網站提供最接近的只有 "迷你應用程式" - 您認為如何? 還是不用翻譯

  • Profile = 個人資料?
    • 呀...不太認識現年中國三地的潮流. profile將是一個'時髦'的功能,我不太懂時下年輕人愛用甚麼字.英文版我們叫它'profile'的原因是為了配合myspace/friendster/facebook等... 有類似的中文網站嗎? 如果有,我們可參考他們用甚麼字... 以我所知, 有的blog叫"博客", 有的blog叫"部落格"... 怪怪的~ :) --Kid 14:59, 11 December 2006 (CST)
  • 另外~ 目前 Message 這個字好像有多種翻譯，例如訊息、留言等等~~ 是否需要統一?
    • 哦... 原因是 message = 訊息, away message = 留言. 其實我可以用"留言訊息", 但"留言"較簡潔,少生硬. --Kid 14:51, 11 December 2006 (CST)
